Eagles defeat the Bears in a wild finish

In the final game of Wildcard Weekend, the Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Chicago Bears 16-15.

Former Eagles kicker and current (for now) Bears kicker, Cody Parkey, hit a ‘Double Doink’ in the final seconds of the game when he attempted a 43 yard FG that would have won the game for the Bears. Parkey’s kick hit the left upright, then hit the cross bar, thus creating the ‘double doink’.

After the game, stadium workers where heard asking Illinois State Troopers if they could give Parkey an escort home. The police officers replied by saying ‘Nope, he’s on his own.’
